We were delighted to receive a message of support from His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales who urged the national trusts of the world to ‘continue to hold the line in the face of development threats’ and to put people at the heart of what we do. His Royal Highness ended by saying how he hoped the conference ‘will result in a valuable exchange of ideas leading to an even closer understanding between all those who serve such a great movement’.
