As part of INTO’s commitment to supporting more sustainable transport options, we have allocated a new fund to support green travel.

Those travelling to INTO Bavaria 2026 by train or bus can claim up to 50% of their ticket back from INTO, up to a maximum cost of £250.

Grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis. We expect to award around 25 green travel grants.

Once the finances have been allocated, we will update this page. We will also endeavour to provide an update when 80% of the funding has been allocated.

Eligibility & conditions

Green travel grant recipients must work or volunteer at an INTO member in good standing. A full list of INTO members is available on our website.

Your planned itinerary from your home trust to the conference must be entirely by train or bus.

Apply for a grant

If you would like to receive a green travel grant, please send the following documents to info@into.org:

• Your INTO Bavaria registration.
• Your booked travel itinerary, including the cost.
• An invoice for 50% of this cost, including payment information.

We aim to reply to all applicants within 10 working days with confirmation of their grant status.

A reminder that reimbursement is on a first come, first served basis. Once the money is gone, we will no longer be able to reimburse these costs.
